Why is sex before marriage and divorces so prevalent in USA?

The Asians including Arabs and Jews, Russians, Africans, South Americans and some European countries including Australians, believe in the sanctity of marriage (not gays), then why does't the USA believe and enforce that when belief in god is enshrined in the very roots of their constitution?Why is sex before marriage and divorces so prevalent in USA?
Well, after the 60s and the Free Love Movement that sh!t went out of the window. It's just that we change as a society, that's all. Morals and values are a little more liberal. During the Victorian Age (mid 1800s; this is a British time period but women and men were just as conservative here) women were covered from head to toe and they were chaperoned constantly. There was no way in hell a woman would be alone with a man that was not her husband unless she had a chaperone.

Fast-forward to life after the 50s: The sanctity of marriage is not as strong and that it is accepted by our society. As a result, people don't feel pressured into marrying before sex, etc. because that's pretty much the way of society. That's not saying that every American is like that. There are still people that will choose marriage before sex/cohabitation. There is even a popular movement with teens that is all about chastity and loving the idea of waiting for the right man or woman.

So, we're moving with the times basically. No big deal. As long as people practice safe sex I don't care.Why is sex before marriage and divorces so prevalent in USA?
Thanks and I really enjoyed your question. Take care! :)

Sex is considered an act of pleasure here in America, so it's more acceptable to have it b4 marriage. In other places of the world, it is seen more as a ';save for marriage'; thing, not for pleasure, well just a form of reproducing, if you get what I mean. Divorces are also not acceptable in some countries, so they have much lower divorce rates.
The US is built on freedom,freedom to have any religious views and do as you please,as long as it's legal.

Not everyone is religious or believes in God.I'm agnostic,and i'm waiting for marriage,although i'm only 15.I think sex is an expression of love in a physical manner,and when i have sex with my husband i can and will do anything and everything to please him with out it being like ';been there,done that';

Not everyone is Monotheistic either,or Christian, for that manner,so every one has their own views on premarital sex,i personally see nothing wrong with it as long as you are being safe,and with someone you love and are committed to.I mean it's only a problem if you have an STD or are sleeping around.

And divorce,there are multiple reasons for divorce,infidelity,financial problems,drifting apart,family problems,not getting along,me personally,when i get married,divorce will not be an option unless infidelity is involved,i would try everything to save my marriage,such as marriage counseling,therapy,going on vacation for ';us'; time,sending kids away to grandparents for a while,maybe separation.

God is a belief,not a fac
I suppose statistics can prove anything true or false but often the real lie is the statistic

I'd go with this formula, big country =higher population, =greater magnification of human behaviour+generalisation=misinformation
It's prevalent everywhere, the world focus's more on US then any other country.
Did some one say HYPOCRITES!!!!
Some do and some dont, I do btw.
We accept the fact that the middle ages ended years ago. (At least some of us do.)
