Are there any Bible verses that say anything bad about gay marriage?

I know there are ones that speak against gay sex, but what about gay marriage? Does it even mention anything about going to a court house and getting a legal marriage license? Also now that California finally banned gay marriage, when will we work on banning divorce?? Divorce damages the sanctity of marriage after all, and the Bible clearly says divorcees are moral sinners. Are there any Bible verses that say anything bad about gay marriage?
Since the Bible says no gay sex and sex is anticipated/expected in marriage how can you have gay marriage? There is a contradiction. It was Adam %26amp; Eve, not Adam %26amp; Steve.

There will never be a ban on divorce. Are there any Bible verses that say anything bad about gay marriage?
No. the bible does not prohibit sexless marriage either.

And no mention is made of inter-species marriage even though inter-species sex is prohibited.

Sex and marriage of a man with more than one wife is not prohibited in the bible, other than for a bishop who is required to be married to one wife.

So as long as the gay marriage remains sexless, it slips in under the wire. Who would ever have thought to marry without the intent of sex? Same for inter-species marriage.

So no, laws are only made to prohibit things that one might consider doing.
I don't think it says gay 'marriage', but really, does it need to?

Because when the Bible speaks of sex, it says that you need to be married before it can happen.

So when the Bible says that gay sex is wrong, it also implies that gay marriage is wrong.

Divorce should not be banned, because what if the woman is being abused by her husband and wants to get out?

I don't agree with divorce due to the fact that they are 'no longer in love' or 'have differences', but sometimes it's necessary.
Don't know why people say you're a troll, this is a good point and it's not an anti-gay question at all, quite the opposite.

I can't say I've read the Good Book cover to cover, but my knowledge of it is that God was a lot less bothered about what went on under the sheets than the Religious right seem to be.

They seem to find lots of reasons to hate people in the Bible whilst conveniently ignoring what Christ called the greatest commandment - ';Love thy neighbour as thyself';.

Tricky that one, when you think he's up to no good in the trouser department. Maybe that's why they ignore it.

Truth is that Biblical verses, especially those written over two thousand years ago, can be used to justify pretty much anything, especially smiting and not eating shellfish.

I think the overall thrust of the Book was about loving, cherishing and honouring. Not about who is putting what into whom.
There are no Bible verses that say anything bad about gay marriage. (For the record, God doesn't HATE anything.) And it's not for us to judge if gay marriage is wrong. Just because it's a little out of the ordinary, it doesn't mean it's wrong.
Since there are verses against gay sex and marriage isn't considered to be a marriage until it has been consummated (the couple have had a sexual union with each other), then that speaks against gay marriage right there.
No, there's no specific mention of gay marriage, just several condemnations of homosexual behavior.

I tend to focus more on the Bible verses against hating and judging others myself. But that's just me.
it doesnt say anything about marriage. i think it's just implicit , in that people who are married will have sex, and ...yeah

and good question about divorce. I had never thought abou it that way before
it says it very clearly in corinthians chapter 6

why did i get a low rating when i only answered factually and truthfully i guess people dont care about honest answere that i slaved over finding
